Verified Jordberga Slott

Sweden, Sweden

Jordberga Slott, situated in Trelleborg Municipality in Scania, southern Sweden, traces its estate origins to 1355 when first documented, with the original castle destroyed by fire in 1644 and subsequently rebuilt by owner Ivar Krabbe, who added a large surviving stone barn.

Governor Eric von Nolcken acquired it in 1811, and his son Carl Adam von Nolcken commissioned the Gothic-style main house designed by architect Carl Georg Brunius around 1840, later remodeled in early 1900s Baroque style by Danish architect Henri Glæsel for Clara von Nolcken.

Privately owned by the von Nolcken family for over 275 years, the estate features an English-style park and operates as a venue for guided tours, weddings, and stays in a 1912 villa amid fertile farmlands.
