Jupiter is a beach and summer resort on Romania’s Black Sea coast in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, located about 4 kilometers north of the city of Mangalia.

It’s part of a string of seaside resorts along this stretch of coast that includes Olimp, Neptun, Cap Aurora, and Venus, and it’s known for its sandy beaches, water sports, and family-oriented facilities. The resort is situated in a picturesque bay and stretches about 1 kilometer along the coastline, offering a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere compared to some of Romania’s busier Black Sea resorts like Mamaia.

Jupiter is popular with families and visitors seeking a peaceful beach vacation, featuring beachfront hotels, numerous alfresco dining restaurants, a small lake just 300 meters away, and a mild climate with warm summers ideal for swimming and sunbathing in the Black Sea. As a village, it has a small permanent population of around 30 residents, but it swells significantly during the summer tourist season when it becomes a lively destination for Romanian and international visitors.
