Kácov is a small market town in the Kutná Hora District of the Central Bohemian Region, Czechia, with a history dating back to 1318.

It is situated primarily in the Vlašim Uplands and partly extends into the Upper Sázava Hills, with its highest point at 475 meters above sea level. The town is located in a bend of the Sázava River, adding to its scenic charm. Kácov is known for its Baroque castle built between 1726 and 1733 for Duchess Anna Maria Franziska of Saxe-Lauenburg, which was constructed on the site of an older castle and has been owned by the town since 2008, making it open to the public.

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is another key sight, originally Gothic from the 14th century but rebuilt in Baroque and Empire styles, with a complete reconstruction in 1862 after storm damage. The town lies on a railway line connecting Čerčany and Ledeč nad Sázavou, making it accessible for visitors interested in its rich history and picturesque natural surroundings.
