Karlův Hrádek is a medieval castle ruin near Hluboká nad Vltavou in South Bohemia, Czechia, set on a wooded ridge above the Vltava River.
It is closely associated with Charles IV and is often described as the only castle built in the South Bohemian region by him, with its foundation dating to before 1357 and its first written mention appearing in 1357. The site later fell into decline in the late 14th century and survives today as a protected cultural monument, with ruined walls, earthworks, and moat traces still visible.
