Kunštát Castle is one of the oldest noble residences in Moravia, located above the town of Kunštát in South Moravia.

It originated as a medieval castle in the 13th century and was gradually transformed through Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical renovations into the impressive château seen today. The castle is closely associated with the powerful Lords of Kunštát and with King George of Poděbrady, one of the most important rulers in Czech history, who spent part of his youth there.

Its preserved medieval rooms, historic interiors, and architectural layers reflect several centuries of aristocratic life. Surrounded by a historic park that includes a unique dog cemetery, the castle is protected as a National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic. Today, it is open to visitors and offers tours that showcase both its medieval origins and the lifestyle of its last noble owners.
