La Albacara, forming the outermost defensive enclosure of Castillo de Moya in Moya, Cuenca province, Spain, was constructed starting in 1183 as part of the town's expansive 13th-century murallas system following Alfonso VIII's repopulation efforts.

This first recinto protected livestock during sieges while encircling the rocky hill with robust stone walls linked to eight historic gates, including the Puerta de la Albacara from the 12th century, amid noble disputes involving figures like Juan Pacheco and Andrés de Cabrera.

Though ruined by the 19th-century Carlist Wars and 20th-century abandonment, partial restorations preserve its role in Moya's medieval defense network overlooking the Turia River valley.
