La Virgen Milagrosa refers to a centuries‑old wooden statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus, enshrined in the Saint John the Baptist Parish Church in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, which is now a minor basilica and diocesan shrine known as the Shrine of La Virgen Milagrosa de Badoc, “Cause of Our Joy.”

The image is believed to be around 400 years old and has been linked to numerous reported miracles, making it a major pilgrimage site for Ilocanos and other Filipino devotees. According to local tradition, the statue was found by fishermen in a wooden box floating off the shore near Barangay Dadalaquiten in the early 17th century, and it later became the town’s patroness and was officially proclaimed as Patroness of Ilocos Norte and canonically crowned in the 1980s.

The shrine and its surrounding cove area, including simple floating cottages on the water, are popular not only for religious visits but also for cultural and quiet seaside tourism in northern Luzon.
