Laholm Bay Beach is the longest continuous sandy beach in Sweden, stretching about 12 kilometers along the coast of the Bay of Laholm from near Båstad in the south to Halmstad in the north.

It sits on the Kattegat Sea and features wide, soft golden sand, shallow waters, and a line of protective dunes and coastal meadows that separate the beach from the inland area. The combination of gentle waves, long stretches of sand, and scenic dunes makes it popular for swimming, sunbathing, walking, and summer outdoor activities such as beach‑side festivals and traditional Swedish midsummer celebrations.

The bay is also known for good windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions, and the area supports local tourism with designated swimming zones, lifeguards in summer, and nearby beach resorts like Mellbystrand and Skummeslövsstrand.
