Liběšice Castle in Liběšice, Czech Republic, originally began as a stone Gothic fortress first mentioned in 1405.

This fortress eventually disappeared after around 1520 when the estate was acquired by Karel Dubanský, who built a Renaissance castle in its place. Over time, the castle served as a noble residence and from 1623 became a Jesuit residence, but the building no longer suited the order in the early 18th century.

It was replaced by a Baroque-style castle, which was further modified in the 19th century. The castle is protected as a cultural monument. Its history reflects transformations in architectural styles and ownership, including aristocratic families and religious orders, with adaptations for comfort and later diverse uses.

The castle complex consists of several wings arranged in a U-shape, and the site holds significant cultural and historical value in the region. The castle's condition has faced challenges, with ownership changes leading to periods of neglect and restoration efforts over time, maintaining its prominence as a heritage site in Czechia.
