Libočany Castle in Czechia was built in 1770 by Václav Karel Schroll of Schrollenberg on the site of an older stronghold.

It includes a château with a church and a rectory designed in the Rococo style, featuring a large park with statues and fountains. The castle stands in a village first mentioned in 1226, previously owned by the Premonstratensian monastery in Doksany.

Over its history, Libočany was part of the Austrian Empire, then Czechoslovakia, was annexed by Nazi Germany in 1938, and restored to Czechoslovakia after World War II. The area was also known historically for its 19th-century brewery, which produced beer exported to the USA under the name Liebotschaner Beer until it closed after World War I.

Most original brewery buildings were demolished during the German occupation in 1939, and post-war the site was converted into a collective farm. The castle today reflects the rich historical and architectural heritage of the region.
