Litomyšl Castle is a remarkable Renaissance arcade castle located in the town of Litomyšl in the Czech Republic, built between 1568 and 1580 under the supervision of Italian architects Jan Baptista and Oldřich Avostalis.

The castle is known for its unique four-winged, three-story structure with an asymmetrical layout, including a large western wing and a distinctive two-story arcaded gallery in the southern wing that encloses one of the courtyards, a feature unique to this castle. Its exterior is decorated with detailed sgraffito artwork, a technique involving layers of plaster that create intricate designs. Inside, the castle boasts richly decorated Renaissance interiors with lavish Baroque and Neoclassical ornamentation, including one of Europe's few surviving 18th-century castle theatres with original stage machinery.

The castle also includes a chapel and several ancillary buildings like a brewery, as well as a baroque pavilion and an English-style park on its grounds. Litomyšl Castle stands as an outstanding example of Central European Renaissance architecture with significant Baroque modifications, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architectural and historical value.
