Löberöd Castle
Sweden, Sweden
Löberöd Castle is a manor house situated on elevated terrain at 135 meters above sea level in Eslöv Municipality, Scania, southern Sweden.
Baron Hans Ramel initiated construction of the current structure in 1798, featuring an octagonal stair tower and two-story wings, though he passed away shortly after its 1799 completion, after which it passed through noble families including Count Jacob De la Gardie, who amassed a notable collection of 18,000 books, paintings, and manuscripts later donated to Lund University.
The estate includes an artificial lake from early drainage projects and returned to Ramel family ownership in 1997 under Knut Ramel, preserving its historical architecture amid rural landscapes.
