Malesice (zámek)
Pilsen 9, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Malesice Castle is a Baroque château on the edge of the Malesice district in Plzeň, built in 1730 on the site of an older fortress.
It was designed by the Plzeň Baroque architect Jakub Auguston for Count Jan Petr of Wachsenstein, and today it is protected as a cultural monument. After a fire in 1948, it was repaired and later used by universities as a student residence, so it is more of a historic local landmark than a major tourist castle.
