Manzanillo, located in the state of Colima on Mexico's Pacific coast, is a bustling port city known for being the country's busiest Pacific seaport, serving as a major hub for cargo and fishing industries. 

The city sits between Manzanillo Bay and Cuyutlán Lagoon and has a rich history dating back to the Spanish colonial period when it was an important shipbuilding and expedition point. Manzanillo is also a popular tourist destination featuring two crescent-shaped bays with golden sandy beaches, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.
