Marqueses de Villafranca Castle is a 16th-century Renaissance palace-fortress in Villafranca del Bierzo, León province, Spain, built in 1515 by Pedro Álvarez de Toledo, second Marquis of Villafranca, over an earlier medieval stronghold known as "la Fuerza" with permission from Queen Juana I.

 Featuring a quadrangular layout with circular corner towers of three wooden-floored stories, an elegant circular keep tower topped by a slate roof, strong walls with barred windows, and heraldic shields of its noble owners, it functioned more as a luxurious residence than a military site amid Italianate expansions by later marquises.

Looted by English troops in 1809 and burned by French forces in 1815-1819 during the Peninsular War, the privately owned and partially restored structure—best preserved in the Bierzo region—remains inhabited by descendants, barring interior access while offering free exterior views along the Camino de Santiago.
