Milštejn Castle is a medieval castle ruin located about 3.5 kilometers north of Cvikov in the Lusatian Mountains of the Czech Republic. It was likely founded between the 13th and 14th centuries to protect an important trade route connecting the towns of Lípa and Zittau.
The castle's first known owners were the noble Berka of Dubá family. Milštejn played a defensive role during regional conflicts and is characterized by its Gothic architectural style. Today, visitors can explore the remains of the fortress situated on a rocky hill at an altitude of 562 meters, where informational boards and preserved structures give insight into its historical importance in guarding trade routes in northern Bohemia.
