Mitchelstown Cave is a famous limestone cave located near Burncourt in County Tipperary, Ireland, close to the border with County Cork. It was accidentally discovered in 1833 by Michael Condon while quarrying limestone, and has since become one of Ireland’s best-known natural attractions. Visitors can explore a series of large underground chambers filled with impressive stalactites, stalagmites, calcite columns, and other rock formations created over millions of years.
