Mlado Nagoričane is the largest village in the Staro Nagoričane municipality in northeastern North Macedonia, with around 1,292 residents mostly ethnic Macedonians as of 2002. It boasts a rich history tied to prehistoric, early antique, and medieval periods, including a 4th-century BC Hellenistic elite residence recently excavated at the Gradishte acropolis site and churches like St. George from the 15th-17th century plus remnants of early Christian basilicas from the 10th-14th centuries. Once a key caravan crossroads on the Thessaloniki-Belgrade route with inns in the 19th century, it features traditional neighborhoods and folklore about ancient clans amid the region's layered archaeological heritage.
