Montánchez Castle is a historic fortress crowning a hill in the village of Montánchez, Cáceres province, Extremadura, Spain, with origins tracing to Roman times and major construction by the Almohads in the 12th century.

It features three preserved water cisterns from the Muslim era, later Christian additions like surrounding walls under the Order of Santiago, an inner keep, wine cellars, and outer elements including a 17th-century pond and hermitage. 

Declared a cultural heritage site, the well-restored structure offers panoramic views and stands as a testament to the region's Reconquista history amid Iberian pig pastures.
