O'Crowley Castle, located in Lisheen Upper (also known as Ahakeera) in County Cork, Ireland, is the ruined remains of a medieval tower house associated with the O'Crowley clan, a prominent Gaelic family that controlled lands in the Kilshallow area of West Cork. The castle is believed to have been built during the late 15th century and served as a fortified residence that reflected the clan's local power and influence. Today, only fragments of the structure survive, with much of the north wall still standing and traces of architectural features such as windows and a fireplace visible among the ruins. Although heavily weathered and covered by vegetation, the site remains an important reminder of medieval life in rural Ireland and the history of the Crowley family. The castle stands on private farmland in a scenic part of County Cork near Kilmichael and is not generally accessible to visitors.
