Odry is a historic town in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, first documented in the early 13th century.

It developed from a settlement known as Vyhnanov and grew into a medieval town protected by 15th-century walls, remnants of which, including a bastion, still remain. The town is notable for the Church of St. Bartholomew, which houses one of the oldest bells in Moravia cast in 1374, and its Renaissance buildings around Masaryk Square.

Odry also has a rich history connected to regional conflicts, including the Thirty Years’ War, with landmarks like the old town dungeon and execution chamber. It hosts the Flaschar Mine Museum, showcasing a unique shale mine, and offers scenic surroundings with paths leading to hills and fishponds.
