Petrin Tower is a 63.5‑meter‑tall steel lookout tower on Petřín Hill in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Built in 1891 for the Jubilee Exhibition, it was inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris but is about one‑fifth its size, serving as both an observation tower and an early transmission structure. Visitors can reach the summit either by walking up 299 internal stairs in a double‑helix staircase or by lift, from which they get panoramic views of the Vltava River, Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery, and much of the surrounding city.

The tower is located in a large park complex on Petřín Hill, which also includes gardens, a mirror maze, observatory, and other attractions, making it a popular spot for both tourists and locals year‑round.
