Playa de Los Lances is a 7.25-kilometer-long sandy beach on the Atlantic side of the Strait of Gibraltar in Tarifa, Andalusia, Spain, known as Europe’s top destination for kitesurfing due to its unique, strong wind conditions.

The beach averages 120 meters wide and is divided by the Río Jara into two distinct areas: North Los Lances, which is undeveloped and quieter, and South Los Lances, which is closer to Tarifa town with more restaurants, beach clubs, and human activity. It features white fine sand, shallow but cold water even in summer, walkways with shower stations, and boardwalks over dunes, making it popular for windsurfing and other water sports with many rental schools available.

Although protected within the Natural Park of the Los Lances Beach (part of the Natural Park of the Strait), the area has experienced environmental degradation from human development and parking, giving it less natural beauty compared to other nearby beaches.
