Playa de Palmones is a small, low‑key beach in the district of Palmones, within the town of Los Barrios in the Cádiz province of Spain, just a short distance from the Bay of Algeciras.

The beach is about 700–750 meters long and around 30 meters wide, with a soft strip of fine golden sand backed by houses and trees, creating a narrow but pleasant space for sunbathing and walking.

It lies near the mouth of the river Palmones, in relatively calm waters that are suitable for swimming, and the area around the river mouth forms one of the few remaining natural wetland zones inside the bay, serving as a quiet haven for local birds and wildlife.

The beach is easily reached from the Mediterranean motorway and is considered a quiet, family‑friendly spot away from the busier resorts, with a relaxed seaside atmosphere and a strong local fishing and seafood‑restaurant vibe nearby.
