Playa de Zahora is a broad, beautiful beach of fine golden sand located in Zahora, a small unspoiled community perched on cliffs in the Province of Cádiz on Spain's Costa de la Luz, stretching northwest from Los Caños de Meca.

Situated deep within the Parque Natural del Acantilado, this windswept Atlantic beach offers stunning views of the historic Cape Trafalgar and Cabo de Trafalgar lighthouse, backed by cliffs and pine trees. The beach is known for its windy conditions, making it an excellent spot for water sports like surfing, windsurfing, sailing, and fishing.

It has a peaceful, natural atmosphere with small beach bars (chiringuitos) serving local cuisine, though visitors seeking better food options can easily walk to Zahora village where numerous restaurants cater to all tastes. Zahora enjoys a mild climate with around 300 to 3200 hours of sunshine per year, with summer temperatures reaching about 32°C and winter temperatures around 18°C.

The beach is family-friendly and particularly nice in the morning when the tide is usually low, creating plenty of space for children to play. The area has developed a reputation as a trendy destination for beatnik travelers and wave-jumpers, offering tranquility, sandy paths, and a laid-back vibe while remaining close to supermarkets and shops in Zahora village.
