Plazhi i Gjeneralit, also known as General’s Beach, is a small, scenic cove beach near the town of Kavajë on Albania’s Adriatic coast, set in the Domen–Bardhor area of Tirana County. It lies in a quiet, rocky inlet surrounded by low hills, about 22–35 km from Durrës and a short drive from Kavajë, and is known for its clear, clean water and relatively unspoiled shoreline compared with busier beaches further north. The beach is named after an Italian general who reportedly vacationed there with his family before or during World War II, and the name “Gjeneralit” (of the General) has stayed in local use ever since. The shore is a mix of soft sand and small pebbles, with basic facilities such as a bar and a restaurant nearby, and it offers a peaceful, low‑key spot for swimming, sunbathing, and short walks along the seafront.
