Ploskovice is a small historic village in the Ústí nad Labem Region of northern Czechia, known primarily for the impressive Ploskovice Chateau.

The village has a recorded history dating back to 1057 and was associated with the Knights Hospitaller, various noble families, and later the Habsburgs. Its greatest landmark is the Baroque chateau built between 1720 and 1725 for Anna Maria Franziska of Tuscany.

In the 19th century, it became the summer residence of Emperor Ferdinand V of Austria, who expanded and remodeled the building. The château is famous for its richly decorated interiors, unique Baroque grottos with fountains and wall paintings, and an elegant landscaped park featuring ponds, fountains, and rare plants.

Today, Ploskovice is a popular cultural and tourist destination, attracting visitors with its architectural heritage, scenic surroundings, and one of the finest Baroque châteaux in the Czech Republic.
