Podvis is a small village in the Krivogaštani municipality in central North Macedonia's Pelagonia region, with a population of around 143 ethnic Macedonians as recorded in 2002. Previously known as Tursko, it lies at approximately 601 meters elevation in a rural area formerly part of the Žitoše municipality. The village holds historical significance for its old school building, recognized as a cultural monument where classes in the Macedonian language first began in 1943 under partisan control, marking an early step in linguistic standardization before later neglect left the structure in ruins.
