It is known for its well-preserved Gothic tower from 1497, which stands near the Church of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist, originally Gothic but later rebuilt in Baroque style. The town's cultural heritage includes a chateau built around 1560 by Zachariáš of Hradec, which has been associated with firefighting history and today houses exhibitions on fire protection.
Přibyslav is also notable for its connection to the Hussite military leader Jan Žižka, who died nearby in 1424; there is a monument commemorating him in the town. Other landmarks include a historic poorhouse established after the Thirty Years' War, now used for cultural events. The town offers a blend of historic architecture, cultural memorials, and natural beauty, making it an interesting destination in Czechia.
