Rožmitál pod Třemšínem Castle in the Czech Republic was originally built in the 13th century as a Gothic fortress by Oldřich of Buzic. It saw significant expansions and was rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the 16th century under Florián Gryspek.

The castle once played a crucial role in regional history, associated with noble families including the Lords of Rožmitál, one of whom was the Czech queen Joanna of Rožmitál. Ownership changed several times, and it was held by the Archbishopric of Prague until the mid-20th century.

The castle was used for various purposes including housing and offices, which led to its decline, but recent efforts have focused on restoring it. It is a recognized cultural monument, featuring a three-winged courtyard structure with historical Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements, and remains partially accessible to the public today.
