The ruins of Koberštejn castle are located near Zlaté Hory in the Jeseníky Mountains and date back to the late 13th century.

The castle was built to guard an important regional path between Zlaté Hory and Vrbno, as well as a merchant route along Černá Opava. Over time, the castle fell into disuse and was recorded as abandoned by the end of the 17th century, with only remnants of its walls and a tower surviving today.

The site is surrounded by legends, including stories of a headless black knight named Waldemar and a white lady who is said to haunt the ruins. Another tale tells of three noble little men who played skittles at the castle ruins at midnight. The ruins, perched on a hill with forested surroundings, remain a popular destination for hikers and those interested in medieval history and folklore in the Zlaté Hory region.
