The Ruins of Okoř Castle near Prague in Czechia began as a 13th-century Gothic fortress founded by František Rokyčanský, a wealthy Prague burgess, and evolved through the Late Gothic and Renaissance periods.

During the Thirty Years' War, the castle suffered heavy damage, and although it was restored in the Baroque style and extended, it was ultimately abandoned after the Jesuit order's departure in the late 18th century. Today, the ruins include remnants of Gothic walls, a chapel, and a distinctive five-story central tower. The site is popular for its romantic atmosphere, historical sword-fighting reenactments, and summer music festivals, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's medieval history against a scenic natural backdrop.

The castle remains an evocative cultural landmark despite its ruined state, attracting tourists and photographers alike. Its name is linked to folk tales, including those of a "white lady" said to haunt the ruins.​
