Schloss Berchembogen is a picturesque hunting lodge located in a forest near Trstěnice in western Czechia.
It was built in the 1870s by Count Johann Ernst Berchem-Haimhausen as a retreat for hunting trips on the Chodová Planá estate and was completed in 1876. The château was designed in an attractive Neo-Gothic style, featuring decorative towers, gables, bay windows, and ornate architectural details.
Its secluded woodland setting was chosen to provide a peaceful escape for the estate’s owners and guests. After World War II, the property was taken over by the state and later used by the forestry administration.
