Situated at around 240 meters elevation in an agricultural landscape crossed by road II/327 and a railway line, it features a central park square, a school, and key landmarks on its eastern edge including a former sugar factory now housing Ardagh Metal Packaging, a church, wooden bell tower, and chateau with an adjacent expansive park and pond named Svatá Anna.
The area offers picturesque ponds, forests with a nature trail, and evidence of prehistoric settlement through archaeological finds.
