State Chateau Buchlovice is one of the most beautiful Baroque châteaux in the Czech Republic, located in the town of Buchlovice near the medieval Buchlov Castle.

Built in the early 18th century and inspired by Italian Baroque villas, it is renowned for its elegant architecture, richly furnished interiors, and extensive art collections. The château was owned for centuries by noble families such as the Petřvald and Berchtold families, and it became an important social and political center during the final years of the Habsburg monarchy.

In the early 20th century, it hosted meetings involving leading European statesmen. Surrounding the château are magnificent Baroque gardens and a large English-style park, considered among the finest historic gardens in the country. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal exhibitions, rare plant collections, and a small wildlife rescue and animal area within the grounds.

Today, State Chateau Buchlovice is a major cultural monument and tourist attraction, valued for its architectural beauty, historical significance, and picturesque setting in the foothills of the Chřiby Hills.
