Štoky is a small market town in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic, located between the cities of Jihlava and Havlíčkův Brod.

It has about 2,000 residents and serves as a local center for several surrounding villages. The town was first mentioned in historical records in 1347 and developed over the centuries as a market settlement. Despite suffering damage during the Thirty Years’ War, it later recovered and prospered through trade, crafts, and its position on important transportation routes.

Štoky is surrounded by the rolling hills and forests of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, offering a peaceful rural setting. The area is well connected by road, including proximity to the D1 motorway linking Prague and Brno. Notable landmarks include the Gothic Church of Saint James the Great in Štoky and the late Baroque Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the nearby village of Petrovice.
