Upplands Väsby, Sweden, Sweden
Stora Väsby slott, located in Upplands Väsby near Stockholm, Sweden, originated as a medieval estate first owned by Knut Karlsson from 1485-1506 and later acquired by the Kurck family before passing to industrialist Emanuel de Geer in 1668.
The current Rococo-style manor house, completed around 1760 to designs by architect Carl Hårleman and finished by Jean Eric Rehn, stands as one of Uppland's best-preserved examples of the era, featuring a two-story stone structure flanked by wings and an adjacent 17th-century Baroque park with hedgerows, trees, and ponds.
Owned continuously by the De Geer family since the 17th century, the listed ensemble of ten buildings now houses offices and residential apartments amid its historic allée approach.
