Štrbské Pleso is a picturesque mountain lake of glacial origin located in the High Tatras region of Slovakia, at an elevation of about 1,346 meters.

It is the second-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras and is surrounded by dense forests and towering mountain peaks. The lake typically remains frozen for about 155 days per year, adding to its alpine charm. The area around Štrbské Pleso has developed into a popular resort town known for skiing, hiking, and mountain tourism, with many hiking trails, ski runs, and cultural attractions nearby.
