Suances Pueblo is the charming historic core of Suances, a coastal municipality in Cantabria, northern Spain, nestled at the mouth of the Ría de San Martín de la Arena where the Saja and Besaya rivers meet the Cantabrian Sea.

With roots tracing to the Paleolithic era and the Roman port of Portus Blendium—famed for blenda mineral trade—it evolved from a fishing and whaling hub governed by the Casa de la Vega into a 19th-century summer resort after the 1878 breakwater split its main beach.
