Svenstorp Castle, located near Igelösa in Lund Municipality, Skåne, Sweden, was built in 1596 by Beata Hvitfeldt, a lady-in-waiting to Danish King Christian IV, under architect Hans Steenwinkel in the Dutch Renaissance style known as Christian IV Renaissance.
The unplastered red brick structure features a central main building with two single-story side wings, carved sandstone details, and hosted Danish King Christian V before and Swedish King Charles XI after the 1676 Battle of Lund. Privately owned by the Gyllenkrok family, its centuries-old park praised by Carl Linnaeus remains open to visitors while interiors stay closed.
