The Vrtba Garden is a beautifully preserved Baroque garden in Prague’s historic Malá Strana district, located on the slopes of Petřín Hill.

Created between 1715 and 1720 for Count Jan Josef of Vrtba, it is considered one of the finest Baroque gardens in Central Europe and is known for its elegant terraced design, manicured hedges, and decorative sculptures by the renowned artist Matyáš Bernard Braun. Despite being close to major attractions such as Charles Bridge and Lesser Town Square, the garden feels like a peaceful hidden retreat, enclosed by walls and historic buildings.
