Torre de Chilluentes
Spain, Spain
The Torre de Chilluentes is a 12th-century Moorish watchtower located in the now-depopulated village of Chilluentes, part of Tartanedo municipality in Guadalajara province, Castile-La Mancha, Spain.
Built with stone masonry in a square 60 m² layout originally up to five stories and 9 meters tall, it served to monitor the vital road linking Molina de Aragón with nearby villages like Establés and Concha. Today, only the west and south walls survive, including an aspillera loophole, standing as a rugged remnant amid the abandoned site's ruins near the San Vicente Mártir hermitage.
