Torre de la Aldehuela

Spain, Spain

Torre de la Aldehuela is a late 13th-century rural castle, also known as Castillo de la Aldehuela, located in the municipality of Torredelcampo, Jaén province, Spain. This small fortified tower served as a defensive outpost during the medieval frontier conflicts between Castile and the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, typical of the watchtowers dotting Jaén's landscape. Recognized as a Bien de Interés Cultural, its simple masonry structure reflects the era's military architecture amid olive groves near the Jaén-Torredelcampo road.
