Torre de los Moros refers to various Moorish-era watchtowers across Spain, with prominent examples including the one in Torrevieja, Alicante, built during the Islamic period to guard against coastal raids and later destroyed in the 1829 earthquake, and another in Tossa de Mar, Girona, a 16th-century circular structure on Can Magí mountain restored in 1997 for pirate defense.

These towers, often from Roman or medieval foundations, feature simple yet sturdy designs with panoramic views, symbolizing Spain's layered defensive history from Arabic rule through the Reconquista. 

Today, they attract tourists for hikes, scenery, and insights into vigilance architecture along vulnerable shores.
