Torre de Mal Paso is a 16th-century coastal watchtower situated near Vinaròs in Castellón province, Valencian Community, Spain, constructed as part of the regional defense system against Barbary pirate raids plaguing the Mediterranean shores.

Built with robust masonry in a typical circular design typical of Valencian vigilance towers, it features thick walls, a strategic elevated position offering sea views, and simple interior spaces for a small garrison to light signal fires alerting nearby settlements and castles. 

Though weathered by time and coastal erosion, the well-preserved structure stands as a Bien de Interés Cultural, symbolizing Spain's layered defensive history from Islamic origins through the Reconquista and early modern eras amid scenic beaches.
