Tower of the Eagles, known as Torre del Homenaje, refers to prominent medieval keeps found in several Alicante castles, such as those in Biar, Sax, and Villena, serving as the main defensive towers in Spain's Valencian Community.

These square or rectangular structures, often 15-27 meters tall with rammed earth or masonry construction from the 12th-15th centuries, originated under Almohad Muslim rule for vigilance and later hosted feudal homage ceremonies under Christian lords like the Pachecos, featuring iron-shard decorations for intimidation.

Standing as dramatic hilltop landmarks amid the Costa Blanca's rugged terrain, they withstood Reconquista sieges and wars of succession, now offering restored access for panoramic views symbolizing frontier military architecture.
