Tučapy is a municipality and village in Tábor District within the South Bohemian Region of Czechia, home to about 800 inhabitants across its three parts: Tučapy, Brandlín, and Dvorce.
Located roughly 16 km southeast of Tábor and 8 km northeast of Soběslavi at around 455-524 meters elevation in the Křemešník Highlands, it sits along the Černovický potok stream amid a landscape rich with fishponds.
First mentioned in the 14th century, it features a historic Church of St. James from that era, a Baroque church as its dominant landmark, a preserved Jewish cemetery, and a statue of St. John Nepomucene, appealing to hikers near the Pokoj pond.
