Tullgarn Palace, situated south of Stockholm in Södermanland, Sweden, along the coast, was originally built in the late 16th century as a Renaissance castle and rebuilt in the 1720s by Magnus Julius De la Gardie in Baroque style after the old structure's demolition.

Transformed into a royal summer residence in 1772 for Duke Fredrik Adolf, it received neoclassical updates in the late 18th century with Gustavian interiors by Louis Masreliez, later adapted by King Gustaf V and Queen Victoria in Victorian style, blending multiple epochs in preserved rooms like the cigar room and drawing room. 

Today, the state-owned palace offers guided tours of its eclectic interiors, scenic parklands facing the sea, and trails, remaining a favored royal retreat until the mid-20th century.
