Vlašim Castle in Czechia was originally built as a Gothic fortress in the 14th century and transformed into a Renaissance chateau by the early 17th century, with later Baroque influences and a Neo-Gothic facelift in the 19th century.

The castle is surrounded by one of the oldest and most extensive English-style landscaped parks in the Czech Republic, created by the Auersperg family in the late 18th century, featuring romantic structures like a Chinese pavilion and natural rocky areas.

The estate includes a chapel and a theater and hosts an exhibition of hunting and sport shooting. Over time, the castle fell into disuse but has recently undergone renewal efforts, making it a popular site for visitors interested in history, culture, and nature, and the park remains open year-round.
