Grunas Waterfall, also called Grunasi or Theth Waterfall, is one of Albania’s most beautiful natural attractions, located in Theth National Park in the Albanian Alps.

This stunning 25–30 meter high waterfall is officially declared a natural monument under state protection by the Albanian government since 2002 and is fed entirely by clean rock and snow water from the western foot of the Boshi mountain peak.

The waterfall cascades into a charming blue pool at the base of a limestone mountain, surrounded by lush vegetation, high mountain peaks, and scenic landscapes along the western slope of the Theth Valley.

Reaching the waterfall requires a relatively easy 3.5-kilometer hike from Theth village center that takes about 45–60 minutes one way, with the first 20 minutes being an easy walk along the river and the final 30 minutes involving medium-difficulty hiking on a narrow path.

The best hikers can complete the round trip in about 1.5 hours, and the walk is suitable for children but not wheelchair-accessible, with the last 10 minutes requiring extra caution.
